Welcome to the Department of Political Science AKI’s Poona College of Arts, Science & Commerce   AKI’s Poona College was founded in the year 1970, simultaneously; The Department of Political Science also came into existence. Initially Prof. Sonawala and Dr. Shaukat Ali ran the Department successfully. After 50 years of successful completion, now the Department is providing Special Course in Political Science at UG level. Department of Political Science has two permanent faculties: 1. Dr. Ahmad Shamshad (Assistant Professor & Head) 2. Mr. Mukhtar Shaikh.
